Studio M can be rented for more than just photography. Although our rooms each have studio lights and backdrops, these can easily be moved so the room can be used for other purposes . Here are just a few:

5 Reasons to Keep Your Membership this Warm Season

1) Rain. Don't cancel. Move the session inside... plus maybe a few cute shots with an umbrella in the rain. 2) Heat Advisorys. Do you really want to photoshop all that sweat out? Or be responsible for grandmas heat stroke? 3) Options. Some people perfer the studio look and you could be loosing business by not offering the studio option.
4) Workshops and classes. Credits can be used toward a variety of workshops and classes which offer a chance for you to not only expand you knowledge and skills but also a chance to plug into a community of others with the same interest. 5) Save up. By keeping your membership you can save up credits (at the better rate) for next cold season.

Redeeming Living Social Vouchers

Using your Living Social Voucher:

Step 1: Go to www.studiosharem.com and create an account for yourself (username, password, etc).

Step 2: Email us at info@larissaphotography.com and let us know that you've created your account.

Step 3: Once you have your credits, you can use them to sign up for the class you choose and book the room you wish to rent. We recommend you take a class BEFORE you rent a room, as the class will give you a chance to tour the studio and learn where and how everything works prior to your rental.

How to sign up for a class: To sign up for a workshop or class, go to our website and click on the Workshops tab. Find the class you want to attend and click register. As long as you are logged in, it will automatically redeem one of your vouchers to sign you up for the class. You will noticed your credits (shown the lower right hand corner) will be reduced by one credit. If you want to cancel your registration, you must contact us at least 48 hours prior to the class.

How to rent the studio: View the calendar on our website and click on the date you wish to book. Choose a Saturday or Sunday because weekdays are reserved for our monthly members only. "A la carte" renters are limited to weekends. Choose the timeslot you wish to book and follow the website promps to complete your booking. You must be logged into your account in order to book a room. If, you need to cancel a booking, you may do so up to 24 hour prior to your session and your credit will be refunded to your account.

A little more info:

Room C, "small room" is worth 1 credit per hour. So if you've purcahse this voucher, you will receive 3 total credits (1 for the class, and 2 for the rental hours), but you may use your credits however you wish once they are applied to your account.

Rooms A and B are the "large rooms" and are worth 2 credits per hour, so if you've purchased this voucher, you will receive 5 credits (1 for class, and 4 for rental hours). You may use them however you wish.

Setup-Cleanup: Each time you rent an hour at the studio, you will be given 15 minutes before and after your scheduled time slot to prepare and cleanup the studio prior to and following your hour of rental time. So each hour really blocks the room off for a total of 1.5 hrs for you. If you do NOT clean up the studio after you use it, you may be billed a $15 fee and issued a warning. Continued abuse of the studio and/or failure to clean up may result in you being banned from further studio rentals. Christmas Special 2011



Several great photographers have teamed up to offer this great Porrtait Sale at Studio M!

Christmas Special November 12 - 18.

We've got six different Christmas Tree's set up at the studio ready for you! Choose your favorite tree to have your photos in front of.

Sitting fee is only $15 for the first person, and $10 each for additional person and/or outfit.

Sure the other guys... *coughportraitinnovationscough*... don't charge for a sitting fee, but they also don't offer the option for you to purcahse full sized digital files with printing rights. The only thing close that they'll sell you is a $60 cd with the web sized files that are not reprintable, and are tiny and pixelated. What we sell is the full resolution digital files with release that allows you to reprint anytime, anywhere. They're YOUR photos. You should be able to do whatever you want with them.



Individual digital files are $15 each or you can buy the entire set for only $50. Think of all the gift giving possibilities! With your digital files (with printing rights) you can make christmas cards, photobooks, collages, gift items, calendars, mugs, keychains, canvas prints not only from us, but from your favorite websites like snapfish and shutterfly! Plus you'll have the files to keep so if you want to print more in the future, you can! Plus you can email them to family, post on facebook, and share to your hearts content.



Rules and exclusions for Christmas Special 2011:This special will take place during the week of November 12th - 18th. By appointment ONLY. Call 618-670-4536 to book your time now.

This is a joint photographer effort... so we'll have several photographers shooting these sessions. The date/time you choose will determine which photographer you get. If you have a favorite photographer, be sure to mention who whenever you book your session.

PRICE: Cost for the session is $15 and includes one mini session. Extra children are $10 each. Extra outfits are $10. So if you have two kids and want them each to wear two outfits, the total sitting fee would be $45. ($15 for the first kid, $10 for their extra outfit, $10 for the second kid and $10 for their extra outfit). This cost covers the sitting only and does not include any prints. Image files will be available to purchase. You can get all of your images for only $50. Or you can purchase individual digital files for $15 each. Prints may be purchased online. Cost for prints are as follows:

Wallets - $10/set of 8
4x6 - $8
5x7 - $12
8x10 - $20
11x14 - $30
Single Digital File - $20
All digital Files - $50*

*The price for All the digital files is per session, not per child. So a session with two kids will have a sitting fee of $25 plus and extra $50 for the image files.... totalling only $75. You will NOT have to pay $50 for each child. Just per session.

Extra outfits are $10 each. So if you want to do some shots of your little on in their PJ's as well as some in their fancy Christmas outfit, you can. It's just $10 extra.




TIME: Length of session depends on the number of children and outfits. The baseline session is 15 minutes (for one child with one outfit). Add a child and/or outfit and we'll add time to the sitting to accomodate, so be sure to mention if you plan on having your little one change outfits so we can plan accordingly. Up to 45 can be given for a single client (given that they've got several kids and/or outfits.

WHERE: These sessions will take place at Studio M in Belleville. It is located in the old walmart shopping center directly between Chinatown and JHNails. We don't have a lighted sign yet, so you'll have to look for the sign on our front door. There's pleanty of parking out front.

ARRIVAL: If you arrive early for your session, we do have a reception/waiting area in the front with a couch and chairs. Feel free to help yourself to coffee/hot cocoa and cookies while you wait. We'll have toys and activities to keep the kids occupied, but it's in your best interest not to arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled time. And please DO NOT arrive late. This will only cut into the limited time we've got alloted for you. We can still shoot your session, but you won't have as much time if you show up late.


PAYMENT: Please bring CASH or a CHECK to pay for your sitting fee only when you arrive. Credit cards will not be accepted at the studio. If you want to get the digital files, you can pay for them via credit when you purchase them online and you'll be able to download them immediately. Or, if you prefer, you can pay via cash or check in person when you drop by Larissa Photography at 161 Orchard Drive, Belleville, IL 62221 to pick up your cd instead. Make checks payable to Larissa photography.

VIEWING: Your photos will be posted online 3-5 days following your session. You'll be able to log in and view your photos for a full month. Be sure to order any prints or image files at this time, as they will not remaine available after this time. You are welcome to share your access code with friends/family so they can order prints from your session as well.
